Our weekly segment Submission Sundays features the new “Ride” single from Montreal up-and-comer Gaby Harvey.
SUBMISSION SUNDAYS SELECTION DETAILS
- Who: Recording artist Gaby Harvey.
- What: The new single “Ride” produced by Don Dada.
- When: The new song is available now through Gaby’s official website, and Spotify.
- Where: Representing Montreal, Quebec and Damaged Goods.
- Why: With Gaby Harvey looking to make her mark on the scene, “Ride” serves as a strong follow-up to another recent track – the sultry Don Dada-produced “Sway” – and (what we think) was her video debut, “Maniac” which came out in August. All make for a great lead up to her Damaged Goods album. Gaby will be performing (along with special guests) at the album release party on May 17 – click here for the official listing on Facebook for more information. It should also be mentioned that the lyric video for “Sway” really proves you don’t always need a flashy music video to make a visual impact. Gaby’s personality really jumps out at you and adds another element to the song. We’ve included it in the post.
You can listen to “Ride” below, and make sure to check out the lyric video for “Sway.”
