Originally born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, Gino The Ghost has smoothly established his musical career from his new base in Los Angeles. He recently delivered the video to his catchy, wxve produced single, “U&I.” His self- proclaimed title as the “gino of all trades” refers to his abilities at handling every aspect of the single’s audio components as well as the production. Showcasing his entrancing melodies on the newest single, he still manages to capture his roots in hip-hop. While some may characteristically place him in R&B, it’s easy to hear that he falls somewhere in the middle of hip-hop and the latter.
“U&I” is the first release off his forthcoming project, and is currently available on iTunes, Spotify, and Tidal. Directed by @a1w0p, and with support from Fools Arcade, the visuals place the artist in front of various shots depicting Los Angeles nightlife. The beautiful women displayed around him, neon lights, and variety of dark backdrops help the nostalgic chorus impact with more influence.
