Our friends at Bring Ya Eh Game return with their 4th Annual Hip Hop Food Drive, this time hosting events in two cities for the initiative.
The first of the two events will take place Thursday, Dec. 13 in Ottawa inside Kinki Lounge, and that will be followed by an event on Saturday, Dec. 15 inside Toronto’s Black Swan Tavern.
Both dates will feature live performances, and will be hosted by Dynamic aka Ya Favourite Lightskin of CHUO 89.1 FM’s Bring Ya Eh Game Radio.
The Ottawa lineup also includes Dynamic’s JUNO-nominated father Ras Lee, Hevve, Mada, Moun Fou, and Dominique Gorley. Music will be provided by DJ Alive.
The Toronto lineup will feature Mellow, Eyon, Niekoh, Tri Shy, Cheffie, Ramone, MaizyF, and Ardy. Music will be provided by DJ Slam.
Tickets are $5 at the door with a non-perishable food donation or $10 without. The food donations for Toronto will be going to Second Harvest and the food donations for Ottawa will be going to the Ottawa Food Bank. Doors open at 9 p.m. for both dates.
The Hip Hop Food Drive gives local artists and supporters a platform to give back to the community by helping out those who are less fortunate. Check out the flyers below for the full lineup of performers for each event.
