This one has been on repeat. Budding Toronto rapper Hoodbaby Peppa wrapped up a successful year with one more banger, solidifying his spot as one of the hottest artists coming out of the city.
The Hous3 of Commons-powered “Purple Heart,” a touching tribute to fallen friends, features fellow Jane & Finch rapper and frequent Hoodbaby collaborator, LB Spiffy. The pair collaborated earlier in 2020 (along with Duvy) on “RR,” and Peppa also featured on LB’s recent EP, LB No Pounds (“One Time” with Mdub).
