Toronto up-and-comer Joéllen is back with a new single in advance of her forthcoming EP, T.M.L.I.I. (Tell Me Like It Is).
The DeeJayKay-produced “Problems” is available on various digital streaming platforms including Apple Music and Spotify.
“You gotta problem with me? Not running with me?” The song, which centers around calling out a former flame, mixes sexy with just the right amount of petty, making it the perfect summer anthem to wild out to.
Acting as the follow up single to her early 2019 release “Time,” “Problems” steps away from the chill R&B scope, instead adopting a whole new energy and sound that we haven’t heard from the budding star. The record was both mixed and mastered by music producer Eestbound who is best known for his work on Travis Scott’s “Antidote,’ and Canadian rap artist Sean Leon. With this collaboration, Joéllen is hoping to set the tone for what to expect on her upcoming EP.
