Toronto singer-songwriter Kaisha Lee releases new visuals for “My Love Is Rare”

Toronto singer-songwriter Kaisha Lee releases new visuals for My Love Is Rare

Kaisha Lee has started her 2019 with a return home to Toronto where she is embarking on various entertainment industry works. Her latest single, “My Love is Rare,” is a soul ballad she had a hand in producing. Kaisha was excited to share the song’s new supporting music video with the world, showcasing another side to her artistry.

“My Love is Rare” is a story of a woman giving her all to a man who craves her all but doesn’t appreciate or reciprocate it. He is too busy esteeming his own social crown and only pays attention to her when he is mad or jealous of any attention she receives from her own works. This song is a bold and delicate picture of a woman owning her power, knowing what she gives, who she is and making it known that she deserves better.

Kaisha has a busy week ahead. She has a press day in Montreal tomorrow in advance of the My Love Is Rare Single & Video Release Party inside Montreal’s La Vitrola (4602 Boulevard Saint-Laurent) the next evening. You can find more information and tickets on Eventbrite. From there she’ll head to Ottawa for more press stops.

You can find “My Love Is Rare” on various digital streaming platforms including Apple Music and Spotify.

You can watch the new Amber Lomer and Robert Ruffo-directed video below.

About Kaisha Lee

Kaisha Lee is music personified. Born and raised mostly in Toronto, she was heavily influenced by jazz, soul, gospel sounds, and melodies from her Jamaican roots. Both her Jamaican parents were strong music lovers with an impressive album collection. As an upcoming artist, she had the opportunity to tour the world with professional gospel and classical chorales and perform at the first inauguration of former U.S. President Barack Obama. She even claimed a Gemini Award for her song writing skills.

Since launching her solo career in 2009, Kaisha has performed amongst numerous well-known reggae artists. Living in Jamaica as a child for a short time was one experience. Living in Jamaica as an adult with a song on irie fm and hype tv brought another unique experience to the development of this young artist. Kaisha’s style runs the gamut from Jazz, R&B and soul to reggae, from jazz to dancehall. To add to her considerable repertoire, she spent 2 years as the resident vocalist/pianist at Le Piano Rouge Lounge in Montreal followed by 3 years with Montreal top corporate band “1945.”
