Jamaican-born West End Toronto artist King Bliss heads back to school for “Prom Night” in his new video powered by A Dark Black Film.
The Bes Kept-produced single was originally released on May 30 via his own company, King Bliss Entertainment, and is available for streaming on digital outlets like Apple Music and Spotify.
King Bliss is a smooth and sophisticated storyteller who draws upon the power of lyrical poetry over sounds that combine elements of reggae, afro-beat, jazz and hip-hop.
“Recent personal struggles have challenged my ability to accept reality to some extent,” says King Bliss.
“A notable source of solace is my fixation on financial success.”
“Prom Night” is Bliss’ first official track since dropping “Pocket Dial” in 2018, and is the first of three singles he has planned for the summer. His new project will be available in the third quarter of 2019. His project debut, Knowledge Is The New Gangsta (aka K.I.N.G.) was released in 2017.
