“He wanted to bridge the gap between the old and the new age of hip-hop. Some of his favorite old-school rappers and lyrical geniuses – like Rakim, Nas, Raekwon, and others – inspired his journey over the years and helped him create music that he created as ‘Unknown Mizery’. But, as an artist, he also admired the skills showcased by new-age rappers like ScHoolboy Q and Kendrick Lamar.
He decided to merge the two worlds and create music that tells a good, positive, lyrical message, while carrying the essence of new-age instrumentals, delivery and flows. With a slew of records planned for the year, this man’s got a lot locked up in his closet that’s about to blow up.”
