Cambridge producer Know-It recently dropped of a new release with Toronto recording artist Ivason Black.
5 to the 6 is a 6-track EP which pays homage to both creator’s respective hometowns, with Tafari Anthony and Shark jumping in as guest features.
“Know-It, the legendary producer, happens to hail from the Tri-Cities, hereinafter the 5ive. Chief lyricist Ivason Black reps the 6ix. Having done work together in the past, including dropping a single on vinyl, this EP is polished and smooth as #$@%.”
Black is credited with mixing and mastering the album in its entirety, and worked closely with art director Jimmy Fingaz during post-production to ensure the collaboration was both cohesive and visually stunning.
