Love Over Loss Always: LOLA releases the UNCUT project

Our friends at TopLeft Recordings bring us the debut from London recording artist LOLA, an acronym that stands for Love Over Loss Always.

The 8-track UNCUT project features a short list of guest appearances that includes O-Beast and Yardii. She pulled in several producers for the release including Axel Rosa, Spencer Jones, Contrary Beats, Madlib and Anno Domini.

UNCUT was recently serviced to all major digital outlets including Apple Music and Spotify.

“I named this project, Uncut, for the simple fact that, it’s raw and authentic. It’s who I am as an artist and a person, on a daily basis. That’s actually the purpose of the song Candice vs Lola, who I am as me and who I represent as an artist, go hand in hand, and they butt heads. I tried to keep my features to a minimum on this project due to the fact it’s my very first release. My most meaningful feature though, is definitely Streets Made Me featuring Yardii. Him and I connected so deeply with this collaboration because we could relate with one another. The emotions and intense lyrical content is my life I have lived, our pain is equal and our passion was elevated.”

The post also contains the video for the “Wake Me Up” remix directed by OMG519.
