On Tuesday, Warner Records announced that a new project was in the works to celebrate Mac Miller, and asking for fans of the late Pittsburgh rapper to contribute.
“Mac Miller’s team is working on an untitled project to celebrate Malcolm and his music. His art touched so many lives, in so many ways.
A toll-free phone number has been set up to collect your stories, thoughts and wishes as part of this project. Your offerings are deeply appreciated.
If you’d like to participate, please visit https://project.macmillerswebsite.com.”
The currently untitled project will be Mac Miller’s second posthumous release.
Born Malcolm McCormick, Mac Miller died after an accidental drug overdose on Sept. 7, 2018. He was only 26.
