Award-winning Canadian artist Madchild will be hitting the road this Friday, Apr. 13 for the first of 60+ concert dates set to keep him busy throughout the spring and summer seasons.
The Swollen Members MC will be using the tour to promote his 2017 project, The Darkest Hour, and likely any other new material he’s got on the way.
He might also run through tracks off his 2012 chart-topping full-length debut, Dope Sick, which we’ll be reissued as red and white vinyl through Suburban Noize Records on Saturday, Apr. 21. The re-release will be be a Record Store Day exclusive.
As for the tour, Madchild has a pair of BC shows in April to kick things off, and then has 20 European dates that will take him to mid-May.
That’s when the main Canadian leg of the tour really gets underway, starting out with four more dates in his home province of British Columbia before moving on to Ontario.
In total, the tour will reach all-10 Canadian provinces, as well as Yellowknife in the Northwest Territories. Usually at least one or two provinces (and usually all three territories) miss out on major events touring the country, so this is great news for his fans.
