Toronto artist Minty Burns recently dropped a hot new single powered by Burd x Keyz production. “Hadouken” – named after Street Fighter character Ryu’s special attack – features Minty rapping about his come up, his growth on the scene, and basically shitting on his naysayers. The new record is HipHopCanada’s Song of the Day.
Minty continues to build on an already impressive portfolio and was recently featured on Highsnobiety’s “10 Under the Radar Artists to Discover.”
Here’s what they had to say about his new StackingMemories-directed video for “Green Man,” which came out on 4/20 and is also included in this post.
“The only track on your turn-up playlist that can get away with sampling ‘The Oompa-Loompa Song’ from Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory and still be hard af.”
