Canton, Ohio-born Michael Lamar White IV, better known to the world as Trippie Redd, recently returned to Montréal-based media outlet Montreality for another dope interview.
Trippie is currently promoting his album debut, Life’s a Trip, which was released back in August, and his A Love Letter to You 3 mixtape, released in November (both via TenThousand Projects).
The album features some incredible production including contributions from Canadians Murda Beatz and Pro Logic. A Love Letter to You 3 also has a Canadian connection with Tory Lanez being featured on “Diamond Minds,” along with one of the song’s co-producers, Elliot Trent. 808-H is also credited with producing the track.

In his new interview with Montreality, the Atlanta-based rapper speaks on a variety of topics including love and broken hearts, Geminis in hip-hop including Kendrick Lamar, Kanye West, 2Pac, Biggie, Andre 3000, Drake’s influence, and more.
Trippie Redd was also featured on Montreality back in May 2018–along with his now ex-girl Angvish–discussing their relationship and how they first met, J. Cole, JAY-Z, Kanye West and Watch the Throne, what happens after death and more.
