Toronto up-and-comer Patrik has released fresh visual support for his new single, “Entitled.”
The CMPLX-produced record is set to be appear on the Montreal-native’s forthcoming EP, Spadina, which was inspired by the Toronto neighbourhood he moved to not that long ago.
In an interview with Complex for the video’s premiere, Patrik explained the significance of the song and what it represents to him as an artist:
“‘Entitled’ is the embodiment of my transitioning. In style, it visually captures the simplicity of reinventing myself. Content with where I’m heading, disregarding complimentary statements.”
While he’s taken up full-time residence in Toronto, the new “Entitled” video was actually shot at the LivArt gallery in Montreal. Patrik attended a show there back in November and found himself inspired by the space and setting.
