For the past few weeks, 9-0-Nickel recording artist Peter Jackson has been building the buzz for his new Ria Mae-assisted single, “Thinking About You.”
Today marks the release of the official video, powered by Toronto-based, Cazhhmere.
The accomplished video director gave us some insight on the way she approached the project:
“Although the song is about love, it’s not just about a romantic love. It makes me think of love for family. Particularly my granddad who passed away a couple of years ago, and I think about him every day. I wanted to bring the multi sentiments of love to life visually for Peter Jackson and Ria Mae.”
Much like the catchy record it’s supporting, the new video is a celebration of love; embracing relationships of all kinds, for all people, from all walks of life.
Mae – who has been promoting her “Bend” single and the My Love EP it’s featured on – commented on the new release and what it means to her:
“Really excited to share this one. I think it shows a different side of both of us. I really just hope it makes people happy and that it makes people think about the love they have.”
Meanwhile, Jackson used the video outro to dedicate the video to his wife, the mother of his children.
“No matter where I am at in this world, I’m always thinking about you. Every single thing I do, I do it for you and our two beautiful children. I love you to death, baby girl!”
