CBC Music has announced a new event taking place during JUNO Week 2018. Playlist Live, taking place Sunday, Mar. 25) has been called a “groundbreaking live event (celebrating) the 2018 JUNO Awards host city of Vancouver.” The Rascalz (and we think the rest of the ‘Northern Touch Allstars’) will be on hand for a special collaboration with Terra Lightfoot and Jim Cuddy. CBC Music presents Playlist Live
Full-service entertainment and music marketing agency ENT! Marketing is producing a memorable music event during JUNO Week 2018 in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Presented by CBC Music, Playlist Live is a uniquely curated one-of-a-kind live music event which shines a light on the 2018 JUNO Awards host city of Vancouver via its artists and its iconic songs. The intimate invite-only event will take place as the official afterparty to the 2018 JUNO Weekend on Sunday, Mar. 25 at Canada’s Premier Entertainment Resort Destination, Parq Vancouver.
For the first time ever, this exclusive event will stream worldwide at cbcmusic.ca/junos, beginning at 8:30 p.m. PST. The live stream will also be available via CBC Music’s Facebook and YouTube pages.
Hosted by CBC Radio One q’s Tom Power, with special appearances by CBC personalities Raina Douris, Jarrett Martineau, Julie Nesrallah, Amanda Parris, Stephen Quinn and Odario Williams, the evening’s small room, big talent line-up will see over 25 artists perform in 2.5 hours including: Louise Burns, Ryan Dahle, Steven Page, Scott Helman, Common Deer, Weaves and more names to be revealed throughout the evening. Playlist Live’s celebration mandate also includes fresh, once-in-a-lifetime, collaborations: Terra Lightfoot teams up with Jim Cuddy, Northern Touch Allstars and Rascalz make history onstage, Sarah Harmer and The Weather Station’s Tamara Lindeman find common ground, plus many more surprises throughout the evening.
