Blue Feathers Records rapper Pressa closed out 2018 on the heels of his first headlining tour that brought him to seven Canadian markets over the span of a month.
Pressa kicked off the Eastern leg in Hamilton on November 24, and then went to London, Ottawa and Montreal, selling out all four shows (six in total) in the process. He then headed West where he did shows in Calgary, Edmonton, and Vancouver, including a performance at the Winter Breakout Festival on Dec. 14.
Crowds were hype, fans recited his lyrics—some even crying from excitement—and showed up with pre-purchased BFR gear in preparation to see the 22-year-old budding star perform.
Throughout the tour, Pressa was flanked by special guest WassGang artists including Houdini, J Neat, and Burna Bandz, who have all seen their buzz grow significantly in the last year. Houdini joined Pressa to perform their bubbling “Up & Down” single, while J Neat performed his “Drip Freestyle,” and Burna Bandz performed the fan favourite, “Late Nights.”
We asked BFR publicist Lil Thrilla for his thoughts on the campaign:
“It’s an honour and self accomplishment to be able to see the growth of a young rising star like Pressa, and especially for me to be a apart of a growing independent label like Blue Feathers Records. The Canada Goose Fur Tour was a success with six sold out dates. Pressa’s fans really showed love in each city, with London being the stand out city at 900+ fans!”
Building off his “Canada Goose” hit featuring Tory Lanez, and the name of the campaign—The Goose Fur Canada Tour—Pressa made a huge impression at his shows by giving away a free Canada Goose jacket at each show; certainly worth more than the free t-shirt artists usually throw out.
Pressa also rolled out the merch table and surprised fans with a Blue Feathers Records pop-up shop in London before his show, selling new BFR designs with fresh colours at each event.
We’ve got some more photos from the London and Hamilton shows which you can check out at the bottom of the post.
420 In London
Today, Pressa returns with the visuals for his Murda Beatz-produced hit, “420 In London,” which features Philly rap star, Lil Uzi Vert. The “420 In London” single was well-received by viewers, and has racked up over 4.5 million streams since its release.
The new video, co-directed by Pressa, 2Bridge TV and Genreshoots, follows an afternoon where Pressa was rapping at exactly 4:20 p.m. in London, UK with Murda Beatz. Those moments were captured in London around the time of Drake’s Boy Meets World Tour.
After Pressa’s return to Canada, Lil Uzi Vert surprised fans and brought out Pressa for the first time he performed in Toronto at Rebel Nightclub during the Rap Caviar Concert. Uzi and Pressa once again, surprised fans at their most recent performance in Vancouver for the Breakout Festival, where the duo performed in-front of 7,000 fans.
“Next for me is my ‘Prestige’ project that I’m anticipating to drop on February 16 and I just want to accomplish my own Europe and USA tour.” – Pressa

Along with the new video, and announcing the project release date, Pressa has also revealed the Prestige artwork, but the track listing is still under wraps. More information about the project should be announced in the near future.
