We’re blessed to be able to bring you this news update about positive growth and an artist continuing to move their career forward. It almost went the other direction.
PriceDaBoss of First Class Empire was recently a passenger of a certain transportation company’s vehicle when an accident occurred. Price received significant upper body injuries as a result of an illegal U-turn. We’re purposely limiting the amount of details we include here, as Price determines his rights and legal options. Saying too much publicly before litigation is not advised.
We’re really just here to let you know he’s alright though, in case you’ve heard otherwise, and to let you know what he’s been working on when he hasn’t been focused on his physical rehabilitation.
“The fact that I’m still alive today made me realize I’m truly here for a reason.
If God didn’t want me to continue on the path I’m on, it could have been lights out for me. With that being said, I’m gonna go harder than I ever did.”
PriceDaBoss on the OP Block
After teaming up with K Money to get his “Bitcoins” up back in February, Price has been keeping busy putting work into a handful of different projects.
One of them is his new “OP Block” video which will be out in the near future:
“It’s a Romeo and Juliet type of story, its about a guy (me) who finds out a girl he’s been dating lives on the block that his block is beefing with. At that point, it’s like, ‘do you leave her or do you stay? What would you do?’”
To visualize the concept, Price teamed up again with up-and-coming videographer, Cee Ristopher:
“I chose to work with Cee because we built a strong chemistry from working on ‘Bitcoins’ featuring K Money. He really knows what he’s doing, and I witnessed his work ethic first hand.”
The single is just one of several new records on the way, with 2018-shaping up to be one of Price’s busiest yet – accident or not.
“At that point, it’s like, ‘do you leave her or do you stay? What would you do?’”
He was recently seen with Fatboy SSE, although he wouldn’t confirm or deny if the pair had a collaboration in the works.
EverythingsMerch
Along with his own music, Price continues to push his clothing brand forward:
“Basically it’s called EverythingsMerch. It’s a clothing line, and more than that, it’s a statement. If you’re a hustler you should remember that everything should be looked upon as merchandise. Your talent, time etc. Everything is merch, and as an artist you should always have merch ready to work with.”
He’s also embraced other brands, and up-and-comers with their own merch via the brand’s official Instagram account.
2018 and Beyond
Moving forward, we’ve already had a few discussions regarding Price collaborating with HipHopCanada, and there’s a lot of great ideas being bounced back and forth. Nothing we’re ready to reveal just yet but you’ll be the first to know once we iron out the details.
