After dominating hip-hop headlines with his new album and a scathing Drake diss, “The Story of Adidon,” Pusha T is back with a new venture.
Today it was announced that the GOOD Music rapper and president would be releasing a new music inspired mobile app that will be powered by fan voting.
The Heir app – who The Source reports is being released in partnership with Silicon Valley tech entrepreneur Summer Watson – will lets users rate hip-hop songs.
“Social music for hip-hop heads, no machines.”
As writer Shawn Grant explained:
“For those curious, early access the to the application is available to a select number of those who apply. If you pass the process you will be able to vote up or down on tracks and those frequently voting will win digital currency referred to as a crown. Crowns can also be lost if you vote negatively on a track that is popular in the heir community.”
Pusha T’s tweeted yesterday plugging the official Heir profile and website. He also included a message alluding to the currency system:
“In a world filled with musical opinions, why not find out what yours is worth ?”
