Few words are needed to do justice to the most recent release from Ramriddlz – the Mississauga-based Drake co-signee. Heavily influenced by Patois slang, the Canadian crooner brings strong dancehall vibes to “Habaesha.”
The track premiered on OVO Sound Radio Episode 41 and features Ramriddlz speaking on an East African girl that he’s encountered.
He sings, “Met an East African on the weekend, from the East End/Softest skin, with a waist so slim/She don’t need collagen in her cheeks, and shawty fleeking/ And that ass on ten, hot cayenne/ Bailen, bailen, bailen, bailando.”
Fresh off his European tour, Ramriddlz released the visuals for the Jaegen and Krs.-produced track earlier last week before the audio was made available on major streaming sites. You can watch the “Habaesha” video now below or click here to grab it on iTunes.
