For those who aren’t familiar Sarah Jay’s Weekly Picks is a Spotify playlist featuring the best new Canadian urban music releases. It’s a platform to spotlight the artists coming up and to share my favourite new releases with you.
Jay Glavany recently released Let’s Get Lost and I’ve had it on steady rotation ever since. It’s R&B that sounds exactly like how love feels and the perfect EP for cuffing season. Today also marks the release of Roy Woods’ new album Say Less. And it’s his best album to date.
What else happened over the last few weeks? ShaqIsDope released the ShaqIsDope EP and Ty Senoj dropped Metrosexual, Kyle Wildfern finally released a new loosie, Prime Boys dropped “Come Wit It”, KILLY dropped a new track and I can’t stop listening to “I Am Who I Am” by Baka.
