Jordan Fall of IXXI - Sarah Jay's Weekly Picks just relaunched on Spotify

Following a brief hiatus Sarah Jay’s Weekly Picks are back on Spotify this week. Today I’m releasing a new playlist with 55 of my favourite tracks from the last few months.

It’s been a year since I started my weekly picks and it’s still one of the highlights of my week. I decided to launch the series because of one question I kept getting asked: “Are there any Canadian rappers besides Drake?”

Is that a stupid question? Definitely. But it never ceases to amaze me how many people still ask me that. When I started this my goal was to curate two hours of Canadian urban music every week and give shine to the artists coming up. Fifty playlists and thousands of songs later I’ve managed to do just that. And I’ve still never put Drake on any of the playlists. Also I’m petty.

This week IXXI artist Jordan Fall is on the cover because he just made his solo debut with “Savings” and the track is insane. Check out the playlist and track list for Sarah Jay’s Weekly Picks below.
