HipHopCanada on Spotify:
Sarah Jay’s Weekly Picks Vol. 14

HipHopCanada joined Spotify back in 2016 and we’ve been releasing a new playlist with two hours of music every single week.

Each Friday we’ll hit you with a Canadian urban music playlist curated by our Associate Editor, Sarah Jay. Every week Sarah will be putting together a 38-track weekly selection of new releases, classic favourites, throwbacks, and songs she’s playing heavy on rotation.

This week’s playlist includes several brand new recently-released tracks including Van Hill’s “No Worries” (off the December released Sad Day At Wonderland EP), Jazz Cartier’s “Tempted,” Rochester’s “Grateful” (off the Cowabunga album), Cashmere Cat’s collaborative “Throw Myself A Party” with Starrah, 2 Chainz, and Tory Lanez, DillanPonders’ “Gorgonites” (off Acid Reign); and Roy Woods’ “Love You” (off the Nocturnal EP).

Volume 14 also features several American-Candian collaborations including Mick Jenkins’ Kaytranada produced “Communicate,” Tim Suby’s collaborative “K Goodnight” with Jessie Reyez, CGB’s “Test Me” with Mick Jenkins, and Sammy Keys’ “Dedicated” with Ye Ali. Check out the playlist and track list for Sarah Jay’s Weekly Picks Vol. 14 below, and make sure you go follow us on Spotify.
