HipHopCanada on Spotify:
Sarah Jay’s Weekly Picks Vol. 25

HipHopCanada joined Spotify back in 2016 and we’ve been releasing a new playlist with two hours of music every single week.

Each Friday we’ll hit you with a Canadian urban music playlist curated by our Associate Editor, Sarah Jay. Every week Sarah will be putting together a 38-track weekly selection of new releases, classic favourites, throwbacks, and songs she’s playing heavy on rotation.

This week’s playlist includes a bunch brand of new music including 12AM’s “No Good 4 U” (off the just released new Afterparty EP, which is one of the best projects I heard this month), Sean Leon’s “Charge It To The Wav,” Dr Maleek’s Tory Lanez and The Game assisted “Don’t Say Nothin,” Dead Obies’ Naadei featured “Game Over,” HMLT’s “LOE,” Emay’s “Ibn “son”,” Mickey Blue’s “Attached,” Jordan Rivers’ “Feel Me Not,” Sayzee’s “Fire,” Luu Breeze’s “La Senza,” and Seth Dyer’s “Lock.”

Volume 25 also features a ton of music coming out of Montreal. Mostly because I was bumping the Dead Obies’ new EP titled Air Max and it was too good. And then Wasiu put me on to this amazing vocalist named Charlotte Cardin. And then I saw the “Street Gospel” video by February Cxld and felt some type of way. And then Black Atlass (formerly of Montreal) popped up on a collaboration with Moonlight Matters. Then I discovered that Lunice made a track with Angel Haze this one time and I got really excited… And so on, and so on.

Check out the playlist and track list for Sarah Jay’s Weekly Picks Vol. 25 below, and make sure you go follow us on Spotify.
