HipHopCanada on Spotify:
Sarah Jay’s Weekly Picks Vol. 43

HipHopCanada joined Spotify back in 2016 and we’ve been releasing a new playlist with two hours of music every single week.

Each Friday we’ll hit you with a Canadian urban music playlist curated by our Associate Editor, Sarah Jay. Every week Sarah will be putting together a 38-track weekly selection of new releases, classic favourites, throwbacks, and songs she’s playing heavy on rotation.

This week’s playlist features a ton of brand new music starting with Roy Woods’ new single “What Are You On?”

I’m super excited to share this week’s playlist because there has been so much dope new music coming out lately. Volume 43 mostly features new music with tracks from artists including Shan Vincent De Paul, Khaliowe, Mickey Blue, Amaal Nuux, Dante Leon, Savannah Ré, Yen Dough, Angst, Seth Dyer, Belly, Jae Ari, Napalm Dreams, Nixxon, DillanPonders, Immerze, The Kount and falcxne, Temi, Nanu Alidina, Reo Cragun, The 25th Hr, Pomo and Harrison Brome, LEO. and Genom, Hakeem Roze, and more. This week’s playlist also features Jazz Cartier’s new “Special” collaboration with Lex Aura and Rexx Life Raj. And of course we had to throw it back to Derek Wise’s “Jamal” because he finally dropped the video for that.

Check out the playlist and track list for Sarah Jay’s Weekly Picks Vol. 43 below, and make sure you go follow us on Spotify.
