HipHopCanada on Spotify:
Sarah Jay’s Weekly Picks Vol. 8

HipHopCanada joined Spotify earlier this year and we’ve been releasing a new playlist with two hours of music every single week.

Each Friday we’ll hit you with a Canadian urban music playlist curated by our Associate Editor, Sarah Jay. Every week Sarah will be putting together a 38-track weekly selection of new releases, classic favourites, throwbacks, and songs she’s playing heavy on rotation.

This week Sarah returns with another 38 tracks for you. This week’s playlist features artists from coast-to-coast; from British Columbia through Alberta, Manitoba, Ontario, and Quebec… all the way East to Nova Scotia. The track list includes records from The Celestics (that’s Kaytranada and his brother Lou Phelps), River Tiber, Immerze, Tory Lanez, K-Riz, Jay Mayne, Jazz Cartier, Naadei, City Fidelia, Troy Joe, and more.

Volume 8 also features several records that have dropped recently including A-Game’s “Tby,” M Mac and Flex The Antihero’s remix of “Grey Ghosts” by Birds Of Bellwoods, Ramsay Almighty’s “Humble Pie,” Jay Mayne’s “Be Me” (off #stillchoptrees), Kavale’s “Need Somethin'” (off Carpe Diem), Shabazz’s “Aphrodite (Por Que?)” (off Alma Sola), K. Forest’s “All In One” (off Eyes Of Taiga), 11:11’s “I Know” (off 11/11), JAHKOY’s “1000 Times” (off Foreign Water), and Swamp Thing’s “Neil deGrasse Tyson” (off Pray to Science).

Check out the playlist and tracklist below, and make sure you go follow us on Spotify.
