Coming in support of his upcoming project Molasses, West End Toronto artist Terrell Morris has released fresh Steph Verschuren-directed visuals for his song “OAK” featuring Basecamp.
Molasses was produced entirely by Fresh N Losh, who Morris has worked with in the past on various previous tracks, amassing more than 5 million streams in the process.
“The collaborative album, Molasses, is about a boy realizing who he’s become as a man, and appreciating the simple joys in knowing who that person is – as a lover, an artist, and a product of today’s socio-economic imbalances. My goal for this album was to unlock something new that has yet to be heard, and Free n Losh were the exact team to make that happen. They produced the entire project, while Steph Verschuren (Allan Rayman, Keys n Krates) provided creative supervision.”
“OAK” is HipHopCanada’s Song of the Day. The video, starring Ruby Benson, is available for viewing below. You can also find the single on SoundCloud.
