Tona and TassNata join forces once again, following up on their 2017 MMVA nomination for Best Rap Video, “Let’s Go.”
“Tona and Rich have always made sure I’m good in Toronto the last few years, so it was cool for me to finally return the favor.” – TassNata
Armed with 16mm film, Jeremy Cox shot and directed the new hockey-themed visuals for the “Bring The Horns” (Prod. Superville) which takes place in TassNata’s hometown of Vernon, BC inside Civic Arena.
The game took place this past Boxing Day, and features a cameo by Tona’s Naturally Born Strangers groupmate, Rich Kidd, as coach of the team. After the shoot, they performed at a 300 person secret pop up location party at the arena.
“Bring The Horns has viewers front row for a small town, beer league hockey championship. A game no one really cares about except for the players. Beers are crushed, goals are scored and fights are had. At one point the refs are seen in the stands taking a break from the battle, and Tass’s daughter’s are ontop of the zamboni celebrating a big W.”
“Bring The Horns” is available now on all streaming platforms.
Along with the new video, we’ve also got the full version of TassNata’s Game Day documentary, a mockumentary series originally released as one minute episodes with Noisey/Vice. The series served as a promotional lead up to the video.
